HERITAGE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL DEVELOPMENT PLAN

PLANNING STEPS TO BE ACCOMPLISHED

 
GOVERNANCE:

To decide our Mission and Vision and pursue activities that support how we will serve those principles in the future.

Goal/Task: Simplify the Mission and Vision   (COMPLETED)
Goal/Task: Hire an Administrator to help lead us to a higher level (COMPLETED)
Goal/Task: More Diversity on Staff and on Board
Goal/Task: Retain and Attract Excellent Staff (ONGOING)
Goal/Task: Enlist New School Board members to address the future needs of Heritage Christian School (ONGOING)       


MISSION/OUTREACH:

To practice and demonstrate to others the Biblical principles we serve.

Goal/Task: Reaching beyond our walls (in service, missions, outreach, ministry)


FINANCIAL:

Our primary goal is to be out of debt and to access money for scholarships,
expenses, salaries, and eventually develop a strong endowment.

Goal/Task: Revise the Annual Support Campaign to expand to a new level
Goal/Task: Establish an Endowment/Planned Giving Goal


MARKETING and INCREASING ENROLLMENT
To meet our mission.

Goal/Task: Develop a comprehensive marketing plan
Goal/Task: Continue to seek outside revenue through increased grant acquisition (ONGOING)         
Goal/Task: Increase Enrollment
Goal/Task: Retain Current Students
Goal/Task: Develop Alumni Association for future support, marketing support and a base of leadership


CURRICULUM:

To continue to teach Biblical principles of why we serve and to maintain high standards academically. 
That is to be understood in everything that follows.

Goal/Task: Further Develop Plans for Expanded Programming as determined by the review committee: There is a need to expand on the current curriculum to include preparation for more post-graduation opportunities

FACILITIES, TECHNOLOGY and SUPPLIES

Goal/Task: More technology and supplies in classrooms
Goal/Task: Facility improvements needed now
Goal/Task: Larger Facility improvements needed long-term


SPORTS, RECREATION, EXTRA-CURRICULAR:

To develop a quality, comprehensive sports program that develops a Christ-like character.
A Strategic Plan for Future Location of School, Gym and Sports Complex is Needed:
