AultCare wants to keep you informed of an important Federal regulation and how it may impact your healthcare plan.
You are required to provide access to in- and out-of-network pricing information on a public website. Machine Readable Files (MRF) must be posted beginning July 1, 2022.
As additional guidance, the attached document provides a high-level overview of the Transparency in Coverage Rule.
Below is the AultCare (Aultra) MRF link and summary of your required action items:
- On your own public website, please link to AultCare’s MRFs: Price Transparency » AultCare. This location is publicly available and accessible to all. No authentication is required.
- If you do not have a public website or experience difficulties in posting the link, direct all requests to the AultCare website to pull down the information
- When setting up your plan’s connection to AultCare’s MRF link, remember it cannot be password protected or difficult to locate.
- Click on the link to test that it is working. Please note: This is only a placeholder for now and will not include data at this time.
- Upon viewing the link, your test is complete and it is available to place on your publicly accessible site.
- Beginning July 1 and monthly thereafter, the MRF data will appear. MRFs will be updated monthly.
Members looking to find information that will aid them in determining current costs of services can continue to use the Price Transparency Tool on the AultCare Member Portal.
