Job Title: School Custodian/Sanitation
Year-round schedule:
5-hour shift (25 hours weekly) Monday-Friday
Afternoon hours during the school year (3pm to 8pm or 4 to 9pm)
Times flexible during the summer and on breaks
Roles & Responsibilities:
Maintain a clean and healthy environment for all students and staff. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Make sure all areas are clean and presentable
Clean bathrooms
Clean and mop floors and stairs
Use a buffer in halls
Vacuum classrooms
Empty all trash daily and pick-up exterior trash
Deep clean during breaks
Move, assemble and reorganize equipment
Clear snow and spread salt
Landscape and maintain the grounds
Assist with general property maintenance
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED preferred
Able to lift 50 pounds
Able to stand/walk the majority of the shift
Able to climb ladders and stairs
Work independently without direct supervision
Abide by Heritage Christian School Statement of Faith and Philosophy
Follow all school policies and procedures
Able to pass Ohio Revised Code required background check and drug/alcohol testing
Previous experience preferred
